Welcome to the Horsham Agricultural Society, 'Maydale Reserve' Horsham Showgrounds.

The Maydale Reserve is privately owned by the Horsham Agricultural Society Inc. We offer camping and stable bookings for various events and festivals throughout the year. If you have a problem with your booking within this system, please contact Nominate direct.

Terms & Conditions

Bookings for stables and campsites are open now for hiring from 5th October 2023.
Camp sites are on a first in best dressed system.

An overall membership/facility fee of $15 is compulsory for all hirers.

All hirers must present to the office upon arrival to the Horsham Showgrounds, located in the Maydale Pavilion.

Pricing structure

STABLE DETAILS

Block A stables are large and are allocated to stallions as a priority. If they are not booked out, they are available for hacks and galloways. However if a late booking comes in for a stallion, by booking with Nominate, you agree to move your horse to the second size stables in Block B which are 3.000 x 3.100

Block B stables are 3.000 x 3.100m which cater for hacks and galloways. While we appreciate you may be booking horses and ponies and would prefer to stable together, this may not always be available. Once again, large horses take priority.

Block C stables are only suitable for ponies as they measure 2.800m x 2.300.

Block D stables are suitable for hacks and galloways and are stand alone structures, fully covered.

STABLE FEES

Stable bonds are $30 per stable. This money is refunded once the stable has been checked off as clean by a committee member of the Horsham Ag Society.
Stables cost $15 per night.
For straw bedding (wheat straw) bales, please contact our supplier, Dylan Thompson direct on 0498842988 to deliver to the showgrounds.
BYO yards $15 per horse per night. A $30 bond is included to ensure the area is clean upon exit as our wedding and festival season begins after the closing date. Stables are unavailable after November 3rd, 2023.

CAMPING & PARKING

Powered camp sites are $20 per night (one power point).
Unpowered Camping $15 per night.
Short term horse float parking during Horsham Horse Show is free.
Long term horse float parking including and outside Horsham Horse Show dates up to 7 days is $25.
Long term horse float parking outside of Horsham Horse Show dates but not prior to, will attract a fee of $5.50 per night.
Camping is not permitted on the lawn area.

HORSE SHOW - OCTOBER 15, 2023

Free gate admission to the Horsham Horse Show.

All competitors must pay $15 membership/facility fee (one per family). Waiver forms must be signed by all competitors.

Entries to all paying classes will be a flat rate of $5. This does not pertain to entries on the day which are $10.

A copy of the Show Schedule can be collected from the office from August 31, 2023. Sorry no mail outs as the schedule will be available online at www.horshamshow.com.au.

Camping sites are on a first in best dressed situation. The lawn area is not available due to upcoming events and festivals.

The Horsham Agricultural Society reserves the right to refuse bookings.

ATTN RIDERS BOOKING STABLES 70-80: These stables are set aside for stallions. If you book these stables and are found to have booked for a mare or gelding, you agree to forfeit or accept another stable (if available). By continuing with the booking, you accept these conditions.
