Volunteer Hours

Volunteer Hours

As a club we rely on the support and assistance of our members and their families.  In order to run fundraising events and keep the grounds in order we require members to do volunteer hours.

Our volunteer hours have had an upgrade this season to reflect feedback from all members on achieving their volunteer hours to support our pony club.  It was agreed the following at our recent 2026 AGM.

1. First riding member (U25) will be 12 hours.  If you are choosing to pay your volunteer hours upfront, this would be 12 hours @ $30 per  hour (ie, $360)

2. Each additional riding member is 4 hours.

3.  A cap is applied to riders in the same household of 20 hours. This would be a total of 20 hours @ $30 per hour (ie, $600.00)

As an adult member your are required to support the club with 10 hours of volunteer assistance.  If you are unable to undertake your volunteer hours you may pay an exemption fee of $300.00 .  We encourage all members to support our club with active involvement. 

For example

One Child Only → 12 hours

One Adult Only → 10 hours

Parent + Child → 16 hours

Two Children – 16 hours

Two Children + Parent → 20 hours

Three children → 20 hours (capped)
