Schedule will be available on Belfast Club facebook page and emailed on the Friday prior to the event. Please print off a copy as there will be none available on the day. 

All riders (or parent/guardian if rider under 18 years) must sign an entry form accepting and agreeing to conditions of entry. Unsigned/paid entries will not be accepted.

1. NZPCA approved safety helmets to be worn and must be YELLOW tagged.

2. Back numbers will NOT be provided.Riders must supply their own back number holder and back numbers MUST BE CLEAR Please PRINT number / NO BALLPOINT  PEN

3. Gear check to be completed before all phases, this includes for obstacles.

4. Riders must wear correct attire for all phases. Pony club uniform acceptable. Long hair must be tied up, preferably in a hairnet.

5. ALL RIDERS RIDE AT THEIR OWN RISK. Belfast Pony Club Inc and landowners accept no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to property, horse or pony, rider or spectator.

6. Entry fee must be fully paid to confirm entry. * Disclaimer: Due to increasing costs of running events Belfast Pony Club is no longer able to absorb some expenses that come with it, so we do need to increase our event prices. You will notice an additional $9.50 rider levy and processing fee when entering.

7. Absolutely no dogs on the grounds when the event is in progress please. This will be strictly enforced.

8. Only approved/competing horses/ponies are to be on the grounds during the event.

9. Committee reserves the right to alter the schedule or combine classes.

10. Committee reserves the right to remove any horse/ pony it considers dangerous.

11. Protests must be submitted to the event secretary within half an hour of the incident and be accompanied by $30, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld.

12.  Refunds: 75% of entry will be refunded when request is made in writing within seven days of the event and accompanied by either a vet or doctor's certificate. No refunds to be given on the day.

13. Riders eliminated on the course may not continue and must walk back. 

14. If a rider falls while competing they are eliminated and need to be checked out by the first aider on site

15. Riders entered in the event are the only ones allowed to ride on the grounds at any time.

16. Please take any rubbish, including horse manure, with you when you leave.

17. Food, drink and raffle available on the day please bring cash.

18. This event is run under NZPCA and the appropriate ESNZ rules.

19. Concussion Rule - Riders who have had a fall within the previous 21 days, and suffered concussion are not eligible to compete without a Doc certificate.

20. Prize Giving will be held approximately 30 minutes after the class is posted on the board at the clubhouse, providing there are no protests.

Elimination – a competitor may be eliminated at any stage of the competition by the ground jury for A: Dangerous Riding, B: in their opinion the horse is sick, lame or exhausted, C: for misuse of the whip or spurs or the ill treatment of the horse, D: for interfering with another competitor, E: for any other unseemly behavior, F; doping.
