TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

  1. My child/children, (under 18), will only ride on the Waiuku Pony Club grounds while supervised by an adult.
  2. All riders must wear a back protector meeting the current safety standard when using the xc jumps.
  3. All riders must wear a Yellow tagged helmet when riding on the Waiuku Pony Club grounds.
  4. All riders, members and public enter the Waiuku Pony Club grounds at their own risk.
  5. All members are to make themselves aware of the farm situation e.g. open drains, troughs, wire fences, gates and animals.
  6. Only full financial members are eligible to sit certificates, participate in Pony Club closed competitions and vote at the AGM.
  7. Non Waiuku Pony Club members riding with Waiuku Pony Club members must pay a ground fee of $15 per mount. It is the responsibility of the accompanying member to ensure the visitor signs in, signs the waiver, and complies with all health and safety regulations.
  8. All members agree to abide by all existing Waiuku Pony Club rules and the rules of NZPCA and Franklin Thames Valley Area and District Pony Clubs.
  9. Waiuku Pony Club and its members must abide by the NZPCA Fair Play Charter and Code of Conduct.
  10. Members acknowledge that this is a family membership and parents agree to assist with set-up and pack away at rallies, and to do 15 working bee hours or pay $150 in lieu.
  11. On completing this membership application you confirm you have read and understood the Waiuku Pony Club Hazard Identification Document and Health and Safety Policy

 

Terms of Access Code

Upon commencement of Membership, families will be issued with an access code for the main gate.  Members agree to;

  • Keep confidential any access code issued to them
  • Never give the combination to any non-member of Waiuku Pony Club
  • Never forward the combination to a member via Facebook, email, text, or any other digital means.
  • Whilst on the grounds and the gate is unlocked, do not leave the combination sitting at the given code.
  • Ensure that the gate and combination lock is properly closed when leaving the grounds.

 

Precautions under Covid 19 Level 2 lockdown;

Buildings and toilets are out of bounds.

One bubble group or individual at one time on the arena

Sign on gate showing rider non-bubble distances.

Bottle of hand sanitizer tied to the gate for members to use prior to touching the padlock & opening the gate.

No casual visitors/arena hire
