Tamahere Pony Club

Tamahere Pony Club is a branch of Hamilton Pony Club. It was established in 1980.  We are a small club with a focus on fun & friendship. Our club grounds are situated at 476 Pickering Road, Tamahere.  We have an NZPCA approved cap on our membership due to our small grounds.

  • I understand that all riding helmets & back protectors must meet the approved NZPCA standard.
  • I understand that whilst the club will take care while riders and horses are under its supervision, neither the club nor its officials can be held responsible in the event of an accident or injury to riders, horses, spectators or property.
  • I consent/do not consent (please delete one) to medical intervention in the event of an accident.
  • I consent to my child's photograph and/or name appearing on the TPC website, TPC Facebook & in any TPC marketing.
  • I agree to follow the "Fair Play Sports Charter".  All members to act within the spirit & intention of the rules.  Respect coaches, judges & officials. Respect other riders & their supporters. Respect their horse & care for their welfare. Be gracious winners & dignified losers. Play hard but play fair. Play to enjoy our sport.

  • I understand that the club depends on voluntary assistance with the general running of Tamahere Pony Club and fundraising activities.  I therefore agree to help wherever possible in order to ensure the smooth running of the club, including the following:

1. Attend at least one Hamilton Pony Club meeting per season on behalf of Tamahere Pony Club. A roster will be created.

2. Assist at a minimum of two area Pony Club events.  A roster will be completed at the beginning of the season.  Events may include but not limited to the following: Area Gymkhana, Interbranch, Gold Cup, Hamilton ODE & Mahoney Cup.

3. Tamahere Pony Club fundraisers this season will include a wine fundraiser.  The expectation with the wine fundraiser is that each family sells at least two cases (12 bottles per case) of wine or donate $80 to the club.
